Officer LePoris,
As an instructor in several of the Police Academies in the Greater Cincinnati area I feel it is a great honor to remind our future police officers of great servants such as you, sir. Your dedication and devotion to keeping watch on our communities will always be remembered, and your selfless service to others touched generations after you. A distant relative, John Hardinger, served with you in Cincinnati in the early part of the 20th century. My Father and Uncle served for CPD many years later and I am proud to carry on the tradition and to keep your memory alive.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the ninety second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
