My name is Patti Keim Rowland. I am Edwin Keim’s great niece. He was gone way before I was born, but our family, especially my great grandparents, never forgot him. My dads middle name is Edwin and he was my grandfather’s only brother. I am extremely proud of him. And Toledo should never forget.

I am privileged to be among the first to leave a reflection for you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace
