You are remembered always. You would be so proud of your family - your namesake (great grandson) is also a Chicago Policeman - tried to get your badge number but it was taken. He works the same district as you and thinks of you often. Thank you for your service and watch over him as he battles the evils of Chicago.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 82nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
