Reflections for Constable Oda Hyatt

Odie (Oda),
It's been many years since I last talked to you there in your auto repair shop in San Saba. I was just a teenager. Your son Darl and I made a close friendship when I would come to San Saba to spend time with my grandmother and great-grandmother. It really hit me hard when I heard of you losing your life the way you did. I am trying to contact Darl after these 60 years. It won't be too long before we see each other again when we meet the Lord Jesus Christ. Look forward to seeing you again.

Rest in Peace Constable Oda Hyatt. Thank You for your Service and Sacrifice protecting San Saba County Precinct 1.

I Pray for Peace for your Family and ancestors. I also Pray that your murderer's carcass is now being consumed by the hounds of hell. May his screams of pain and agony as he burns in the lake of fire echo around his earthly grave!

Amen.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

You were a true friend who is greatly missed by all who knew you. Your kindness to the kids of San Saba may not be remembered by younger kids, but you are not forgotten in my prayers
