This reflection on my uncle who was born at Bohola,Co Mayo,Ireland. was baptised on 3rd October 1858,I was named Thomas after him and my father, Patrick, doted on him, remembering him, his only brother,as his childhood hero. I have attempted before to obtain details of him and today 59 years after my fathers death I have done so, I wish to remember my uncle. R.I.P.
