While I never had the privilege of personally meeting my great grandfather, I have had the honor of being proud of his service and his sacrifice my entire life. He left this world doing what he loved, and in doing so left an indelible mark on this community, and a high standard for following generations of law enforcement to meet. Thank you for your service and sacrifice, Bob, and may you ever rest in peace, while living on in the hearts and minds of your family.

While I never had the privilege of personally meeting my Great Grandfather, I've had the honor of being able to be proud of his service and his legacy my entire life. He left a positive mark on this community that remains today, and his service left a high standard for the following generations of law enforcement officers. May he ever rest in peace, and may his legacy live on in the hearts and minds of his family. Thank you for your service, Bob.

Bob was my Great Grandfather as well. I remember telling my father I wanted to be a police officer when I grew up. My father told me about Bob and how he was killed in the line of duty when I was younger. I am thankful for Bob's service, including the ultimate gift of service he could give to those he served and protected, his life. I am grateful for all of the other men and women who make the choice to put their lives on the line everyday to protect others; particularly those who cannot protect themselves-our children. Be vigilant and safe at all times. May God be with you and protect you.
