Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Patrolman Honey was my great uncle. His career and my grandfather's (Honey's brother) reflections of his brother influenced my career. I still have the original newspaper articles describing the shooting incident. My father(Neil Honey)has an extensive computer file of ancesty of the Honey family name.
