Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. You were the first born child and the first born son of eight sons. You were in the first group of six men hired by the South Carolina for the forming of a State Highway Patrol. I was only 5 when we lost you but I remember you well, one memory being your shiny knee high boots and the jodpher pants of your uniform. We loved you then, we love you and miss you now. You did a "good job"!!
