Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. I married into your family and your granddaughter Lisa is my mother in law. I learned about your story from my wife and have attended the Miami-Dade county law enforcement memorial service multiple times as an Honor Guard member of my police department. I recently had a daughter and will do everything in my power to come home to her after every shift. Thank you for your service to this great nation. Rest easy.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice, to both our country during World War I, as well as to the Coral Gables Police Department and the State of Florida. After all of these years, this is a promise that you will never be forgotten.

As the day draws closer to the Police Officer Memorial at Tropical Park, I felt the need to visit this page.
I never knew you but you have always been in my heart and I know you would have made a wonderful grandfather.
I have heard many wonderful stories about you throughout the years. I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful strong man.
You will be fondly remembered by family at the service.

Although we never met, you were killed before I was born. I honor your service and my heritage to you as my Grandfather, by caring for your gravesite.

When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous have a refuge - Proverbs 14:32.

How much do I love that your wife took over your position? Obviously a strong family.

You are not forgotten.

I come across this by chance. I was looking up my great grandparents, John and Sabro Hardison...and upon the search results your name and story came up. You were my Grandaddy's brother. Not only do I honor you for being my Great Uncle, but there is another connection that puts me in awe. My husband has been a deputy sheriff for nearly 4 years, in the county you were born and raised...Pamlico Co, NC I naturally feel a sense of pride as well as extreme sadness when I read of a hero anywhere being hurt or killed in the line of duty. So I may not have known anything about you before now, but I must say I am very proud to say, That hero...was my uncle...Thank you sir and may you forever rest in peace, and your memory will never be forgotten.
