Your Police Department is in the history books as is your sacrifice. You have not been forgotten and you will live on forever in the history of the Commonwealth, Law Enforcement and our hearts.

So many have gone before and after you. We pray that you forgive us if we don't specifically recall you all the time, but please know that, though your name may not be at the forefront, you are part of the collective group of men and women who are ALWAYS in our hearts and minds and we visit here often to remind us of the individuals we honor.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
