Reflections for Chief Henry E. Hand

I am a board member of the Montgomery Area Historical Society in Montgomery, PA. I had the honor of presenting a program at our museum (The Adam Room), which is just across the street from where Chief Hand was killed. It was interesting discovering the facts of his life and unfortunately his death. Our community has named a road in his honor. Any updated information would be welcomed to receive.

Chief Henry Hand was my Great Uncle who I never had the opportunity to meet. He was killed in the line of duty in 1938 and I was born in 1945 He was a younger brother to my Grandpa Allen Hand who moved to Boone County Iowa where I still live. My dad Lavern Hand use to tell me the history of Uncle Henry. If there are people with additional information I would love to hear from you. Great Nephew of Chief Hand. Jerry Hand Sept 9, 2021
