Your heroism and service is honored today, the 97th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Napolean Bonapart Hagan was my Great-Great Uncle on my father's side of the family. I heard about this man all of my life and one day got to see his picture on the wall of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. He has never been forgotton and I appreciate the sacrifice he made to make the city in which I live safer even before I was born. Thank you Uncle, may you rest in peace. Yvonne Phillips Johnson
