Reflections for Patrolman John C. Germain
I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Germain and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

I remember my mother and father teling me when I was a child (I was born in 1953) that I was named after a Buffalo Police Officer. This must be him and I am assuming that he was my grandfather Edgar's brother. I am sure that he served honorably and proudly. There is no greater public service than to the protection of others.
