Uncle Ben, it’s 50 years today that you were taken from us. I remember it like yesterday. Daddy had started his first day of vacation so we went to Weimar to relax. But we never got to because shortly an HPD car came to the camp house to deliver the sad news that you were killed along with Officer James. You paid the ultimate sacrifice. You are still remembered by our Oak Forest neighborhood in Houston and by many others. May you always Rest In Peace. You will never be forgotten.
Love,
Glenna
