Special Agent Elmore,

I found your memorial page, thanks to Special Agent Porter's daughter, Kristi. I want to thank you for your service to our country, first in uniform in the U S Marine Corps, then in the FBI. You and your partner, Special Agent Porter, both died as heroes.

Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:13

Chuck Elmore was a classmate at the University of Washington Navy ROTC unit. We graduated on June 10, 1967, and were commissioned as officers in the U.S. Marine Corps. Chuck left the Marines to join the FBI to continue to serve his country. He was a good man, quiet, competent and loyal. His classmates and I mourn his loss and honor his service.

To the family of Special Agent Charles W. Elmore, I pray now that Special Agent Elmore's family, as well as the family of Special Agent Porter, especially his daugher Kristi, have felt God's Love, Grace and peace. I know for a fact that both Special Agent Elmore and Special Agent Porter are in Heaven serving our Lord God. Additionally they are looking over their respective families. Both Chuck and Bobby did not leave their families of their own free will; their lives were stolen from them in the LINE OF DUTY. These men are True Human Beings and we should honor them with a frolic and jubilant reflection of them in our personal thoughts and in our words. They want their family to be happy about HOW THEY LIVED THEIR LIFE, and NOT SAD About how they died. I'm proud of both Special Agent Elmore and Special Agent Porter and if I may add, I proud of my closest cousin, Officer Kenton Britt, NYPD.
God Bless.

Sincerely,
Tom Webb

For the Elmore and Porter families...I am working on a project to further honor their memory and sacrifice. I would appreciate any contact with family members and friends.

Please see my website, which has been successful for the past thirteen years in helping keep Leonard Peltier in prison and to honor the memory and sacrifice of Special Agents Jack Coler and Ron Williams. www.noparolepeltier.com

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 34th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for the solace for all those that love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Thanks to your friends for sharing their devotion to you through their reflections.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Porter family. I was a classmate of Chuck Emore in 1972 and also knew him while serving in the New York Office.
