Reflections for Policeman James A. Ellsworth

Rest in Peace, Policeman Ellsworth. Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Officer 11169
January 14, 2012

Policeman Ellsworth - Your service and sacrifice leaves us an example to follow. May we always be worthy to call ourselves LAPD. Rest easy, Sir, and be ready for us should we be able to join you.

Chief K. Moreland (Ret. Sgt.)
Palmer Lake, CO PD (Ret. LAPD)
February 22, 2010

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 92nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace
