Officer Down Memorial Page

I have been trying for several years to find more information on Officer Elliott for his grandson, my brother-in-law Curly also went into law enforcement and is retired from LAPD.
I stumbled upon this page while doing research. I am happy to see him honored here. May God Bless all those that gave their lives in the line of duty.

Amy- My Grandfather is Edward Elliott and his father is William Elliott, Officer William Elliott's son. I know of Guadalupe, apparently I resemble her.

To julie Elliott in regard to her reflection concerning William Elliott. William Elliott is my Grandmother's Father. My Grandmother's name was Mabel Elliott, her mother was Guadalupe Molina, and Mabel was raised in Los Angeles by her auntie. I don't really know what to write other than "Thank You" for all your service. My grandpa has this same picture up in his dining room. He is a retired police officer and so is my uncle. Thank you again!

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003). Unfortunately, I had to add the name of another friend recently. Deputy Jeffery Hewitt, Buncombe County (NC) Sheriff’s Department, E.O.W. April 4, 2004.

I want to honor all of those who gave their life in the line of duty. Although your death was many many years ago, you are still a hero.

God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.
