Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 48th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I have heard stories about you all my life. I wish I could have met you. You meant the world to my mother and it was one of the saddest times in her life when you were taken from her.

I always loved it when my mom told me that we were going over to Farmersville, La. to visit kin. The main reason was because I knew we would stop at Uncle George's house and maybe even spend the night there. As a very young boy I used to love to hear about some of the action my uncle had been involved in. Whether all of it was true or not, it didn't matter. I still looked up to him. When he was killed, even tho I was a young grown man with a family of my own, I had to go off by myself and cry for him and all of the memories.
All of the aunts and uncles are gone now, but my memories will stay with me until I die.
RIP UNCLE GEORGE.

I had just graduated high school when this occurred. I had graduated with Beverly, Officer Taylor's daughter. I knew all involved and it was such a tragedy. Lives lost over a few onions. God bless our law enforcement men and women who are out there protecting us. Jean Dodd
