Patrolman Eckart, today marks the 55th anniversary of your death. We at the Harvard University PD enjoy a very good working relationship with the Cambridge PD and the mutual respect that we share is what all police agencies should share. When Cambridge looses someone, we lose someone as well. I believe it was that way back in 1951 also.
Thank you for your service to Cambridge and for your service in World War II. You are a hero.
May God Bless you and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
