My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Came across Patrolman John J. Donohue's name this past weekend on the Wall of Heroes at 1 Police Plaza. Although we are not related we share a name. I carry on the Donohue tradition in the NYPD in memory of Patrolman John J. Donohue.
