Reflections for Policeman George Dingwall

My family and I had the honor of laying a wreath at your final resting place during the past Christmas holiday. It was just a way to remind you that your sacrifice has not been forgotten.

PPD P/O Dingwall, God bless you for your brave and dedicated service, never to be forgotten!

My father a 19 year veteran Sergeant of the Philadelphia police dept, died of a massive heart attack on this day. in the year 1979. At the time he was out on a 32 as he had his neck broken in the line of duty when he was struck with a mahogany bar stool during a bar fight disturbance.

That day was a horribly sad and devastating day for me and my family, but as I look upon these reflections I see two of my fathers brothers in PPD blue were waiting for him at the gates of heaven!
