Reflections for Officer Billy Daly

I may never have gotten the chance to know you, but your blood runs through my veins. I am your last remaining grandchild. I will honor your memory in every way I know how. My father was your first born son. He is, and has been a fantastic father. I just wish you were here to see his progress. He’d make you proud. I often wonder how different life would be if you were still here, however, I push through the sad fact you’re not. I just turned 25. I took these years for granted. You fought a good fight for the right reason, and I could not be more proud to call you my grandfather.

Thank you for watching over both be and I, I believe in guardian Angels, Paw Billy, you’re mine.

Georgia Daly
Granddaughter of Billy.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
