Your heroism and service is honored today, the 68th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace.

Trooper Creach was killed two days before his one year anniversary with the Patrol. His wife gave birth to a son one month and two days after his death. He was the first member of the department to be killed by a drunken driver. He would not be the last. He is remembered each day by his Patrol family.
