Reflections for Deputy Sheriff John R. Cramer
Your heroism and service is honored today, the 72ndanniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

God bless you my brother officer who died in the line of duty with the same name as me. I googled my name and found the article on the murder of a brother Law Officer. It has been 66 years since your passing and may the lord cuddle you in his arms. When I retire maybe I will come to Texas and apply for the El Paso County Sheriff's Dept. Love your brother officer #6296.
