Fred you are one of the reasons I became a Police Officer. Your wife Lucille was my grandmothers cousin and I was raised hearing about your triumphs.
Every time I drive thru the intersection of NE 10 & Geary I think about you and the sacrifice you made.

My name sake whom i never met as I was born in 1964. but i remember the stories of bravery told to me by my father, brother of Fred B Counts. Ive heard of the memorial in Ok City. Would love to visit and pay my respects.
