Reflections for Patrolman Kenneth Couch
Officer Couch, your sacrafice is that made to save another. No other sacrafice holds such and Honor. And an Honor it is as you placed another before yourself. You maybe gone but, you, your bravery and sacrafice will not be forgotten. RIP Brother.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 49th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

I was less than a year old when Officer Couch gave his life at the dam in the Housatonic River attempting to save lives. I will always remember the sobering photo of him at the station and I am proud to have served at the same department. Keep his story alive New Milford during National Law Enforcement Week! He is truly one of our hero's.

This officer gave his life in service to his community. His example is a reminder that police officers are willing to risk their lives in order to protect those who find themselves in harms way. May Officer Couch be the last New Milford police officer who loses his/her life while performing their law enforcement duties.
