Harry M Cooper , my grandfather died a hero . And will always have an impact on his grandchildren and great and great great grandchildren. Finding members of our related family has been difficult over the years. I was surprised to read a reflection from P Cooper, a great niece but would love to connect if possible.

To my Grandfather, thank you for your service. Your heroism is something I tell my three sons about . They were able to attend your dedication service and were awed and honored to remember you that way. I feel very special to have a grandfather who was a hero. I wish I had known you but you gave me a wonderful father. Rest in peace grandpa and know that you will not be forgotten.

to all who wrote a reflection thank you for your kind words.
God Bless

This officer was my grandfather who was killed in the line of duty before i was born. I can only cherish the memories that we have , he was a true hero being gunned down chasing bank robbers. I wish I had known him !!

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 87th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Officer Cooper,
On today, the 82nd anniversary of your murder, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Philadelphia. It took another year, but your murderers finally got the justice that they deserved..
