i still wonder and worry if motorcycles are the best choice on the force.I love my father, not because i knew him, but for what he died for.
i would love to know know simple things about him,his favorite color favorite frood. What kind of music he like. Was he funny. At 51 i have lived ten years longer than he did and i still miss that person who should have been there when my first child was born.sorry i dont mean to sound selfish, but i think every child who lost a parent this way, would feel the same

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 45th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect and you will always be honored and revered. I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Thanks to your children for sharing a child' s devotion to their beloved father.

Rest In Peace

This man was my father, it is weird to look at his face and not remember who he was or what he was like. But I know he loved being a Police Officer. And he died doing what meant the most to him. A hero.. maybe, a missed father and grandfather of 15 always. Thank you for those who will remember and care.

Thank you for all that you did. You were a hero in 1967 and you are a hero in 2003. Many years are inbetween and many more to come, your name, face, and legacy will live on forever.
