To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 93rd anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Phyllis Lasater Loya
mom of fallen Pittsburg (CA) officer Larry Lasater

Deputy Conrey,
I never knew you, but you were my grandfather on my mother'side. My mother was only 10 years old when you were killed. I wanted you to know that the family name lives on. My grandson's middle name is Conrey. Unfortunately my mother passed away 5 years before William Conrey was born. My father and brother were both pocice officers who died young of non duty relate medical issues.
I am your daughter's only living child, but my only child is the mother of four wonderful children. You live on in all of us Grandpa,
