Reflections for Patrolman Charles J. Collins
Your heroism and service is honored today, the 70th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

Today marks the 66th anniversary of your murder, Patrolman Collins. The scum who did this paid for his crimes with his life. You paid for your dedication with yours. I KNOW you went to Heaven but cannot say where he went.
You are a true hero and I thank you for your 8 years of service to the Commonwealth.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest In Peace, Brother.
