I'm proud to have such heroic relatives. Your bravery and valor was beyond the call of duty. My thanks to all of the Peace Officers who put their lives in danger every day for the safety of the general public. You are all truly heroes.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and twenty-eighth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
How hard it must have been for your family to lose you and your brother in the same incident.
