Thank you for your service and sacrifice. It has been my honor and privilege to work many investigations over the years with your son, Jerry, who retired from the Marple Township Police Department as a Detective. You would be proud. May you rest in peace.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 50th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I was too young to know you Uncle Jimmy, but your Sister (my Mother) treasured her older brother and still tells wonderful stories of you. I was always proud of you knowing you gave your life to save another. The picture shown on this site, is the same picture that has always been in our home; it reminds us of you everyday.

With Love from your neice, Joan

Although I never knew you Granpop, you were always a source of pride in our family. Dad told us so many stories about you and I wish I had the chance to meet you. Me and my brother Jimmy were proud to wear your badge #2660 when we worked for the Philadelphia P.D. I hope we make you proud as we continue the law enforcement tradition in our family. Keep me safe in Bensalem and keep Jim safe in the F.B.I.
