Ron
On behalf of my former agency (Washoe County Sheriff's Office-Reno), I just wanted to thank you for your dedicated and outstanding contributions to law enforcement. I knew some of the investigators you worked with and they are all great people, as were you. Thank you for your sacrifice and service to the citizens of this great State. I still see your picture at the academy when I go there to teach classes. You are not forgotten.

It's been forty-four years, yet seems like just yesterday.
It's been a tough year, You are not forgotten and you are loved by many. Every day your family and friends look upon your memory and smile. Though at first they may cry they are all proud. You had such a great sense of pride in what you did, you did your job with honor. Love you and Matt

Hi Bud
It's been 43 years and two days. I think of you often and still can't believe your gone. I talked to K.O. not to long ago and he misses you as well. We lost Reid Ross, Bob Roderfer, and Mike Harper. I have moved out ogf Nevada and I haven't heard or seen any of your family. NDI is now "State Police" wow . Things around the U.S. are really in sad shape. It seems were going back in time as there is so much violence and hatered. It still pains me March 13, I'm sorry we couldn't have done more. Love you brother.

It will be forty-two years since that tragic day in Sacramento. Looking at the way things are going today and the loss of you being here with us was not worth it. You and so many other law enforcement officers paid the ultimate price and I myself am not sure for what.
Thank you again for being my mentor and friend. Sorry we didn't do more.
