We all see what you gave in trying to help 3 other officers who were shot in Gary. Thats what we do as police. Your work will always be remembered and never forgotten. Keep watch over the others out there doing the same job you die for. Thank you!

Retired Detective David Gemeinhart #381
Current Special Agent Norfolk Souther Railroad

Officer 11169

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to my home state and the birthplace of my son. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered
