Reflections for Patrolman Benjamin Bruno

Benny, you were supposed to be at my 11th birthday on January 29,956 and had to miss it because you had to work. The next day I went to the store to buy the newspaper and you were on the front page after that crash. That day I will remember til I die. It was the saddest day. You are always remembered in my prayers. Rest In Peace, Benny.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 56th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
