Grand-dad,

I hope you're at peace and your son/my dad is by your side. I know that the pride my father felt for your sacrifice and the strength of your wife help sustain him through many hard times.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 79th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Sir i had the pleasure to meet your son and work with him in the 1970's at the Miami Police Dpt. For many years he was a motor man like you then he went into prisioner processing where i met him every time i would bring one in. He talked very highly of you and was very proud of you. He is probably next to you now. To both of you i salute you and i thank you both
