Reflections for Corporal Eugene Cole

TO MANY SENSELESS MURDERS of LAW ENFORCEMENT officers in this country! I grew up in Maine pretty much my whole life! I have grandchildren there and NO PLACE is safe for them now! The DRUG EPIDEMIC needs to STOP NOW! I am a Retired Volunteer FF/EMT from Maine and feel the loss! Every time I see it on the news I cry! I cry for Deputy Corporal Eugene Coles family! His friends , colleagues and ALL of the lives he touched! The sadness in my heart is great! Rest in Peace Corporal Cole! You can now sing with the Angels as you Patrol the Golden Streets in Heaven! God Speed!

“down these mean streets a man must go who is not himself mean, who is neither tarnished nor afraid. He is the hero; he is everything. He must be a complete man and a common man and yet an unusual man. He must be, to use a rather weathered phrase, a man of honor—by instinct, by inevitability, without thought of it, and certainly without saying it. He must be the best man in his world and a good enough man for any world." Raymond Chandler

Cpl Cole. As an aspiring youth, You always think that you can be prepared when something so close to home happens. I may not have met you personally but I do remember hearing of your kind nature and duty to the community. I hope to one day bear the uniform of an officer and do the job as you did. With courage, dedication, and kindness. RIP Cpl. Cole, May you walk the beat at heavens gate.

May God watch over the family and fellow officers these heroes worked with. We can only imagine their pain. But we can sympathize with them and we must support them. This is what the Patriots and Heroes looks like folks. Running to the danger when all others run away from it. Selfless and fearless to the end. They now work heavens Beat. And are in God's hands forever. Ever watching down on us all.
