Deputy Zirkle obviously knew the dangers of that turn as well as i do I've driven it several times.
He knew the road was wet as it had been raining all day and evening and yet chances are he was traveling too fast for the road conditions.
So why would he take such a chance?
It's simple someone had called 911 and for reasons unknown at that time hung up.
Could it of been a prank?
Possibly,
Could it of been a life threating situation?
Possibly,
All Deputy Zirkle knew was that the unknown needed to be answered and risked everything.
Now he's gone.
Thank you for your service.
Thank you to his next of kin for sharing a true hero.
Rest In Peace.

Hero's are those who aren't any better than anyone else,
Hero's are those who choose to get involved so that everyone else can be safe and free regardless of the outcome to their own safety.

God, filled with mercy, dwelling in the heavens' heights,
bring proper rest beneath the wings of your Lord,
amid the ranks of the holy and the pure,
illuminating like the brilliance of the skies the soul of Ryan Zirkle who went to his eternal place of rest.
May You who are the source of mercy shelter him beneath Your wings eternally,
