Another blue angel in heaven. You will always be in the hearts of those on the job, both active and retired. We know you will be watching out for us. You know we will be watching out for your wife, and daughters. May God bless you, and keep you. We've never met. However, you are, and always will be my brother.

My heart aches for your family, blood and blue, and friends. Thank you for your service and dedication in protecting your community. It breaks my heart to know the pain of your family and especially right after the holidays. I hope and pray for comfort to all. COPS is a great organization for family and friends after such an incident and helped my family greatly. Love to you all!

May the angels lead thee into Paradise: May the Holy Martyrs receive thee at thy coming, and lead thee into the Holy city of the heavenly Jerusalem. May the choir of Angels receive thee; and mayest thou have eternal rest with Lazarus who was once a begger. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

Knowing that his last words were, "Let me talk to you. Let me help you, please," is heartbreaking... This is the core of who cops are. They have an amazing heart for others, many times until their final breath. Their stories don't always get told, yet they carry on unselfishly. I just can't say thank you guys enough for all you do... We should be honored to have you a part of our human race... You're heroes. <3

Rest in Peace Parrish.
Lo there do I see my father
Lo there do I see my mother, my sisters, and my brothers.
Lo there do I see my people back to the beginning.
Lo, they do call me. They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla.
