Your husband and Daddy is an American hero. He did a job most would not take and the other half would be scared to take. He made it a safer place to live in. That alone makes him as valiant as they come. My respects.

Tennessee Highway Patrol

Copeland Family and Friends may God grant you all with a speedy healing. Officer Copeland thank you for your service to your community and your Ultimate Sacrifice during the line of duty. It is a sad day when a persons life is taken because of his/her work ethics. A man probably wanting to make some extra holiday cash for his family lost his life in doing so because of a selfless idiot. I hope that justice is served and Bubba gets his way and Ambushes this guy. Officer Copeland join hands with your Brothers and Sisters in blue that have fallen before you and Patrol the open roads of Heaven together.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

I just graduated from the Cobb County citizens police/fire academy which is a suburb just outside Atlanta, Georgia. During this academy, I met some of the nicest individuals whose duty is to protect the citizens of not only metro Atlanta but all over the nation. If I could go back in age, I would sign up to serve in a public safety role being either a firefighter or a police office. While I regretfully never served as a police officer or firefighter, it saddens me to hear of officer involved shootings that result in the death of a public servant. RIP Officer Kenneth Copeland and thank you for not only your service to your community but to our nation as well.

To Officer Copeland's fellow officers. I am deeply sorry for your loss. May you and your family find peace. I reflect to the NFL as they kneel to protest the Police Officers who protect and serve. A few weeks ago during the Vegas shooting I watched videos of people running for their lives. As the people ran away the videos showed the brave officers running into harms way...to protect and serve. May out nation learn to give officers the respect they deserve. I never met Officer Copeland, today I shed a tear for a man I never knew...God Bless

I hope and pray that this country will support our officers the way that we should be supported. Police Officers today are not respected, underplayed, and over worked. The younger generation doesn’t even apply for these positions like they once did. The public’s support has diminished to horrible levels. Please pray for our officers.
