For Deputy Sheriff Jimmy Clark:

The risks while being a law-officer always loom overhead and no matter the experience or position with any police agency. it is a threat that we'll always face - even while just operating a motor vehicle during our response to calls. It is a job that brings us yet a step closer to peril almost at any moment we're on duty.

We regret that Jimmy would be the next law-officer to have rendered unfortunate truth to this reality. We pray for his family, co-workers, friends and all who care about him.

We proudly render Deputy Sheriff Jimmy Clark a final salute as he was dedicated soldier-of-the-law.

Cpl./DetSgt. Ralph D. Fiorenza, (Ret.)

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

Abraham Lincoln

Please take comfort in Jesus words found at John 5:28,29 where he said that there would be a resurrection. Just think of the time when you will see your loved ones again, in paradise conditions, here on earth. Once again, my deepest condolences.

Avenue of the Fallen
Standing at attention in their class “A “uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.
