The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The Lord helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.

We can't imagine the terrible pain which Officer Joel Davis' family must now bear. We do know that he will be remembered as a man who gave it all when confronted by evil, and that he will continue to be remembered for all time to come. May God comfort his wife, children and family at this time.
