On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Anthony was killed. .

To the Borostowski family, fellow officers, and all who call Anthony beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace. I hope that your family knows that a nation mourned for you.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Trooper Borostowski gave to his community and the citizens of Wisconsin , and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on April 11, 2017.

The loss of an officer, anywhere is a loss to us all but especially to his family and his department family.
I have noticed several single vehicle crashes taking lives of good officers. I wonder how many of those were driving Dodge Chargers. We have had a Tie Rod end pin rust off in three of our four Chargers and have changed the replacement pins due to rust. Just curious how many unexplained crashes involved a tie rod pin rusted through. Not to take away from this officers death but hoping to prevent more.
