Curtis and I sat next to each other at firearms school in 2014. We instantly became friends. He had superhero good looks, but was one of the most humble guys you'd ever have the pleasure to meet. Everyone wanted to be like him and be around him. He was passionate about fitness and inspired many to improve their health. My heart breaks for his family and friends. Rest in peace bro, you will be dearly missed.

Curtis- As a fellow brother in blue, I thank you for your service. While your time was short, the contributions you made to this profession and community will never be forgotten. I know we will all mourn losing you, but I know that heaven must have needed our brother in blue for an important duty assignment. I take solace in knowing that you will be watching over us, but rest easy...we have the watch here on earth. Until we meet again my friend.
