Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

It’s been 7 years today, since God took you into heaven, yet it seems like yesterday .Time seems to stand still when those we love are taken from us. I was truly blessed to have the best big brother, best friend, confidant, protector and hero. Your love for your fellow man, selflessness, courage, and strength saved countless lives that day and will always be remembered. Until we meet again, you will always be in my heart. “No day shall erase you from the memory of time”- Virgil. . Pat, my beloved brother-always loved, forever missed

One of the many amazing men and women who gave selflessly and heroically that day and the many days that followed. Thank you for your service and please know that no passage of time will ever erase your heroism and sacrifice.

My dear brother, every second of every day you are in my thoughts and heart. Time does not heal all wounds because the pain of losing you will never fade. I was blessed to have you as my big brother, my confidant, my best friend, and my hero. The world was blessed to have such a wonderful and dedicated hero, and there is a gaping hole in the fabric of the goodness in the world because you are no longer with us. I miss you more than words can express, but I know, as always, that you will forever have my back. Love you .

Another year in Heaven brother. Too soon to have left all those who loved you, and all those that you have touched. Those of us who were there thank you for your service, and one day will meet up with you to be in perpetual peace. Watch out for the safety of your family, friends, and all of the N.Y.P.D.
