I just found this page, and it is deeply touching myself and my family to see that Officers and their families still remember my Grandfther, and honor him in such a special way.
I'm proud of my Grand Father's heroism, and am proud to know the his not only on the Memorial Stone in front of the Stockton PD, and in their Officer Museum, but also Memorialized here, too.
Blessings upon all the Fallen Officers, and their Families. You are not fogotten, and we all THANK YOU for your service.

On the 61st anniversary of Officer Bristol's death, we honored his service in our patrol briefing by reading his entry from ODMP. Each day, we honor one fallen officer on the anniversary of their death so as to keep them in our thoughts, and also to remind us of the dangers inherent in our job. Officer Bristol is not forgotten.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 60th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to the home state of myself and my cherished son Larry Lasater who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace.
