Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Thomas Joseph LaValley

I was working for, and on duty SPD this fateful night, as a T-Serve operator. I had met LaValley a few times and he was always a polite, fun, respectful young man. He will always be missed by friends and co-workers. Prayers will continue to go up for his loving mother and family. A memorial video I made in honor of our friend. https://youtu.be/Ce7ges3JTIQ

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Revelation 20:12, 13 reads "I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. The dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead in it, and death and the Grave gave up the dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds." Officer LaValley performed "good deeds" by serving his community. Because of that Officer LaValley, like all of the other officers who lost their life in the line of duty, will be resurrected from the dead. What a wonderful prospect God has promised for our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. I pray that Officer LaValley's family, friends, and fellow colleagues find comfort in this promise.
