Reflections for Police Officer Anthony DeJesus

Continue to rest in a better place, my brother. I wish only peace for you. Until all of us who were there meet once again.

Anthony was a great cop. I worked with Tony a few times in the 4-2 and we had some good laughs together. when ever we crossed paths I would always joke around and tell him how much he looked like Steven Segal. I lost touch with Tony after my transfer and would always ask the guys where he went or what happened. Never got a real answer until a few years after my retirement. Rest in Peace Brother.

Anthony was in my academy class 93/16! He was a class act ! We lost touch after graduating but I know he must have been a great cop because he never let anyone down in the academy . He looked after everyone . Rest In Peace

To my brother in blue...thank you for your service and for giving the ultimate during those dark days at ground zero. May you continue to patrol in God's Heaven, watch over your loving family and the N.Y.P.D. I was also there for many weeks, and, don't know why I'm still here. But when ever the Almighty begins to prepare me for that trip, it would be my utmost honor to meet you and to tell you that you were not forgotten for your heroism.. Rest well my friend and God bless your family and all those who keep your memory alive when ever they mention your name.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. We will never forget our 9/11 heroes

Rest In Peace.

On behalf of the Westerville, Ohio Division of Police, our thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family of Police Officer Anthony DeJesus and the extended law enforcement family New York City Police Department of the New York City Police Department. Rest in Peace brother and watch over us.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
