113 years ago your life was taken in an accident. It being an accident does not diminish the tragedy or lessen the pain of all you left behind.

You died while helping to protect one of America's greatest assets, our railroads. The job of a railroad Police Officer is not an easy one, but you did it and you are a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past, Your heroism and service is honored today, the 113th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
