Revelation 21:3,4 provides some comfort of those who have fallen asleep in death. God promises that he will "wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Praying for the family and friends of Det. Green during this difficult time.

Detective Green I'm sure was a tribute to his department as well as all of those that serve and protect the public. To his family and friends I can only offer my prayers for the family, that they can overcome their tragic loss. God Almighty already has Officer Greens reservations beside our Lord.

An Officer’s Heart
By Kathy Farace

I chose to work in law enforcement;
It’s my duty and my call.
I will serve no matter what the risk
In a crisis great or small.

Protecting life and liberties
From jeopardy and from theat.
No matter what the time or cause,
I’ll respond with no regret

The thin blue line of courage is a symbol that reflects,
The depth of strength to conquer,
Fear our commitment and respect.

Duty calls, the race begins, days end is unbeknown.
Though focused on the work at hand
My heart is back at home.

As an officer I know I’m not in this alone.
You stand with me by my side and pray my safety home.

I give you this special gift a heart for us to share;
Holding precious words of love far days so hard to bear.

Every moment of every day, in my heart you’ll always be.
We’ll never be far apart……You have “A Piece of Me”
